The DH Robotics DH-3 is an advanced three-finger gripper designed with precision and affordability in mind. In developing the DH-3, DH Robotics sought to address two of the main problems with adaptive three-finger grippers: their high cost and their relative difficulty in operation.
With this in mind, DH Robotics developed the DH-3 with an integrated drive controller and communication system. These critical systems are located inside the DH-3, and the cable is simply connected to the robot or the control cabinet. The DH-3 was also designed with safety in mind. For example, the gripper automatically locks in the event of a power failure. Since the gripper does not release the workpiece in the event of a power failure, safety is significantly increased. This also prevents potential damage to the workpiece.
With the DH-3, you're in control. This gripper offers superior flexibility, allowing you to easily adjust the gripping position, force, and speed. Furthermore, the DH-3 offers intelligent feedback. For example, the gripper can detect both gripping and dropping. The user can also monitor the position of the gripper elements and the gripping status in real time, enabling better problem detection and troubleshooting.
Setting up the DH-3 is easy. DH Robotics offers plug-ins for a variety of cobot brands, including Universal Robots, OMRON TM, Hanwha, AUBO, and more.
Maintenance and adjustment are also particular strengths of the DH-3. The fingertips of the gripper elements can be easily replaced by the user.
