You can connect the SIMATIC S7 300 controllers to the INTERBUS using the IBS S7 300 BC-T interface module.
The IBS S7 300 BC-T controller board focuses on simple commissioning via "plug & play" and easy operation. The INTERBUS configuration is read and started by switching on the power supply.
The INTERBUS can be conveniently configured using the IBS CMD software. This data can then be saved to the plug-in IBS MC FLASH parameterization memory.
The display and processing of the sensor and actuator data is carried out in STEP7 as with the system's own input/output peripherals.
System monitoring is handled by an automatic diagnostic function. In the event of a fault, the diagnostic data is displayed via LEDs on the front panel and in a diagnostic register (controller input word).
The INTERBUS system is controlled via a function register. Diagnostic and control functions (switching and bridging devices, clearing diagnostic displays, acknowledging messages) can be accessed simply by setting outputs.
